Merchant Bars
Our range of Merchant Bars includes Flats, Rounds, Squares, Rolled Steel Angles, Tee Sections and Parallel Flange Channels. We can supply different grades in standard lengths or cut them to size.
Structural Hollow Sections
We supply hot finished (Circular, Rectangular, Square and Elliptical) Structural Hollow Sections that are formed using normalised, fine-grain steel with uniform mechanical properties. All our Structural Hollow Sections are made in accordance with EN10210-1 and are ideal for demanding applications that require reliable performance in all conditions.
ERW Tubes
Our high-quality steel Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) Tubes are available in Circular, Rectangular, Square and Elliptical formats. All our ERW Tubes are supplied to EN 10305:2010 Parts 3 and 5 E220.
ERW Tubes are used for many mechanical purposes because they are both malleable and formable, meaning that they can be bent or crushed without splitting or cracking.
Hot-Rolled Strip Steels
Our extensive range of Hot-Rolled Strip Steels is designed to offer both standard and specialist performance requirements such as Forming, Bending, Deep Drawing, Laser Cutting and Welding. The material comes in standard widths of 1000 mm, 1250 mm, 1500 mm, 1830 mm and 2000 mm and thickness ranging from 1.6 mm to 20.0 mm. These are available in coiled, de-coiled and standard lengths. Our Hot-Rolled Strip Steels are supplied to EN 10025-2-2004 S275JR.
Reversing Mill Plates
We offer a range of Reversing Mill Plates (RMPs) that come in thicknesses of 6 mm and up, in widths up to 3500 mm and lengths up to 12,000 mm, and in different grades based on requirements. All our RMPs are certified to EN.10204 3.1/3.2 and CE or PED and can be fully traceable to provide transparency.
Abrasion-Resistant Steel Plates
ASD specialises in Abrasion-Resistant Steel Plates that come in a variety of grades and thicknesses. These can also be customised based on specific requirements and are highly sought-after options for manufacturing heavy machinery and equipment parts due to their exceptional performance. These versatile ‘all-rounders’ provide extended wear life, which helps you avoid costly and unnecessary downtime for repairs and replacements. At ASD, we offer Abrasion-Resistant Steel Plates in various sizes and thicknesses ranging from 6 mm to 20 mm.
Durbar®/ Patterned Steel Sheets
To reduce slips, trips and workplace injuries in both wet and dry conditions, we offer Patterned Steel Sheets in various thicknesses, widths and lengths. Our Patterned Steel Sheets are also fire resistant and fully traceable, and we currently supply them at grade S275JR.
Aluminium Extrusions
We offer a wide range of aluminium products, including Bars, Angles, Tubes, Channels and Special Profiles. Lightweight and flexible, extruded aluminium possesses a uniquely high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance, making it the perfect solution for a number of complex design problems.

3D Laser and Flat Laser Cutting
At ASD, our laser processing centre features a remarkable collection of cutting-edge 3D and flat laser cutting machines. With our latest technologies, extensive processing capabilities and skilled CAD team, we can offer comprehensive, superior-quality, in-house solutions to meet all your cutting specifications, regardless of size or complexity.
Forming and Bending
Our services include precise bending and pressing of materials to create customised three-dimensional shapes. Our expertise in precision bending and pressing can help you achieve the desired shape for your materials with the highest level of accuracy and quality.
Profiling
We also offer high-definition plasma and oxy-fuel profiling. Our HD plasma profiling machines offer large area cutting with a high level of accuracy up to 80 mm thick, while our oxy-fuel process cuts plate up to 200 mm thick. We are able to offer both volume and small-batch profiling and a competitive lead time.
Sawing
We have recently invested in some highly innovative, high-performing steel band saws that can offer high cutting performance, deliver outstanding cutting results and keep up with the demand from our customers. The machines offer powerful, automated and comfortable sawing of single beams, bundles or layers, together with straight or mitre cutting.
Drilling
Thanks to our investment into drilling, our drilling lines are heavy-duty, high-speed, high-performance, fully automated and accurate. This helps us reduce our customers’ first-stage manufacturing costs.
Section Bending
Our bending service allows us to manipulate various materials in diverse forms, which helps to minimise project wastage. We currently offer section bending for Tubes, Flats, Rounds, Solid Rounds, Solid Squares, Rolled Steel Angles, Tee Sections and Channels.
