Composite sheet is a sandwich type composite panel with a total thickness of 2mm, 3mm or 4mm and consists of two Aluminium sheets with an LDPE core. It is coated with a high resistance polyester and protected with a transparent film with one side of the product having a matt finish, the other a gloss finish. The product is available in a variety of colours, including standard road traffic grey for temporary use (see Cbond Traffic & Dibond Traffic® for permanent composite).
Composite is supplied to the specification of Alloy: AI 3105H44 (Cgate Alloy) and meets class 0 index for BS476 Part 6 and class 1 for BS476 Part 7. Therefore it meets class 0 according to the National Building Regulations for fire resistance.

Heavy duty equipment is not required to process Composite. Excellent results are achieved by using light tools. Composite can be processed in many different ways, including cutting, punching, drilling and routing.
